Star Wars - Heroes Path app good for

Completely immersed in SW, with gorgeous visuals and cut-scenes. Cant wait to get back to playing :) Game play is engaging. Overall Excellent.
My son likes it a lot and, as you progress, this game offers a good challenge for dads as well. Recommend it
Just like my Lara croft and hitman go , but it tells a story much better with sounds and cartoon pictures as I walk the path really feels like Im playing the movie , great strategy game , its a kids game hope it can give me a challenge still, Im not paying 2.29 per episode but Ill gladly watch its story for free , thx , hope I can beat the rest of the free part of the game

Some bad moments

Just wish there werent so many pay-only levels. (edited): Its impossible to continue game-play without purchasing levels. It was fun while it lasted.
I love this app! The puzzle levels get increasingly more difficult, and using the Hero Powers to progress through the game, is awesome. I’m so happy to see all this great New Hope content too!
One of the better SW games to come along in a while. Cool puzzles and great level design. Definitely worth checking out.
Yeah, if you want to buy everything in this app it costs $24 ON TOP of the $4 you already spent. Ridiculous. AND there are some levels that require you to use consumables in order to get the three stars. Thats cheap of them and costly for us. Disney failed at the monetization on this one. This should have been a premium app with NO IAP or an app where you buy the episode levels but NO consumables. Give us a set amount of hints/powers per level and stop ripping people off through the veil of the Star Wars name.
Not worth $4. My only issue with the game is the valuation, so first: the good- the game is beautiful. The puzzles are (mostly) challenging. Im 41, so I dont think the puzzles were really designed for me, but some of them were still pretty tricky. Even so, Ive now 3-starred every level that is included in the $4 version of the game and that took about 6 hours of gameplay. Also good, I never struggled with crashes or load times, seems to be really stable on my 6+. The bad? As Ive said, its just a valuation thing. In my opinion, whats included in the $4 version of the game should be ad-supported and free, theres just not enough there. In order to complete certain tasks, you MUST use the in-game currency, which means waiting for the next free one or paying additional money. This is fine if the game is ad-supported and free, but not in a game I paid for. Its 4 more dollars to unlock the remaining puzzles and at the speed Ive moved the the the first $4 worth, it wouldnt take me that long. So probably good for your kids, but not worth it if your a good puzzler, theres just not enough substance when compared to other (and free) games of this style. And Im a raving Star Ward fan, so you should know that this review comes from a place of "Im totally pre-disposed to loving this content" Hope the review is helpful.
I’m a big time Star Wars fan and I worry that my kids are going to grow up thinking A New Hope was just part of Legos. This app is the perfect antidote. The comic adaptation is awesome enough to please me (Han shoots first!), but kid approachable too. The game is also fun. My kids took it on a road trip and were entertained in the back seat the whole way. Really polished, really fun…. just good Star Wars.
